Meeting my Babcia and Dziadek

Babcia and Dziadek really like playing with me!

"Daddy, that is not funny."

Cuddles with Dziadek!
This weekend I played with my Babcia ("bab-cha") and Dziadek ("jha-juish"). They flew all the way from St. Louis to visit with me.  It was really fun to meet them and hear Polish.   We went to the Berkeley Botanical Garden, Greens restaurant, and the San Francisco embarcadero.  We also took some photos in Daddy's studio. Here are a few.

Me & My Turtle: 2 months

Yes, you counted correctly. Four rolls.

Happy to be me!
Her head is still bigger, huh?

I have grown so much in four weeks, but  my turtle is still huge. Someday I will be bigger than she is, but not for now.

Life after shots: I am smiling again!

Gardening with Mommy is F-U-N!

Bald. Spot. No. Joke.
First day gardening in my bear outfit! (Daddy always calls me Kaya Bear...now I look the part!)

I love being outside!
On May 18 I got my first shots- three of them containing seven different vaccines! OUCH! I was certainly not ready for the pain that this process would cause me...and neither was Mommy.  But, I am a tough little baby girl and once I got rid of my fever I was smiling again.  Here are some photos of my adventures as a nine week old.

Being 8 weeks old makes me smile!

My new groovy bib/burp cloth makes me look like I am ready for outer space! (Thanks Tio Ryno and Uncle Andy!)

I LOVE my changing table! Check out my kicking and waving!

Happy to be me.

"Hi Mommy!"

Another fun day together...we are blessed!
My pink bear hat fits now. Thanks Laura!

Chillin' with Daddy on a Saturday morning.

I partied HARD.

Rockin' the knit jumper at Lily's 3rd birthday party.
I love my booties from Mark & Kristi!
I am now 8 weeks old and I love it! I can see more of this beautiful world and am learning how to interact with it because I can see farther and move my arms and legs with more force.  Here are a few shots of the past week.

(Revised) Month Two Antics

Hiking at Fernandez Ranch (the day we got the ticks!).
Hiking makes me hungry!
I like to look out and see the world.
Daddy- I love you!
Look at me holding my head up!
"Come on Rox! I got you!" (See my appropriate outfit?)

Chillin' in the garden. Yup. I love nature.

Can you guess what my favorite beer will be?

This turtle loves me!

This is really fun!

And tiring.

Seriously. Whose head is bigger?

I got a sunburn hiking this week.  Oops!

I don't care what Jessie and Uncle Andy say. I like Bo Ryan!

We do love each other...really.

I am taking my first bath! FUN!!!
Being 6 weeks old is hard work! (See my pink elephants?)
Daddy & I play silly games in the mirror.
Mommy is happy to be jogging again! She gets so sweaty!

Daddy keeps my nails filed. They grow quickly!
One day Mommy & I surprised Daddy at work.  Here we are heading to a new plot.
Roxy guarded me while Mommy helped Daddy look for endangered Clarkia plants.
This is Mommy's favorite view at Redwood.  This is what it looks like from my vantage point.
The three girls are hiking today!
Just plain chillin'. Feeling blessed to be healthy and alive.
Daddy & me- at my first MLB game! (Go Red Sox!)
(Nana- this one is here for you.)
My first Tucker's ice cream! Auntie Yana came too!
I sure can't wait to eat my own ice cream cone!
Hiking is hard work!
I sure feel little and young next to this tall, wise redwood tree.
I really like to face out now that I am 6 weeks old. There's lots to see!
I still love to sleep in my bassinet basket.
I went to the de Young Museum with my Easy Bay aunties, cousin Logan, and cousin-to-be Jorge.  Art is great!
Mommy told me about the art at the museum.
I can pick my head up during tummy time! Check out this action shoot as I switch sides.
Tornado cowlick.  Daddy's daughter...
I have a fun time on my play mat! I can see the black and white shapes really well!
I met my new friend Aviva (Yeal & Chris's daughter) this week. She is exactly 3 weeks older than I am, but I weigh over a pound more than she does. We talked philosophy on her play mat for a while.
I love my Daddy.

I really like my changing table.  And my owl rattle. (Thanks Meg!)
I have been growing quickly! In addition to getting bigger and bigger cheeks, I have been very busy doing lots of other things like: taking a bath for the first time, hiking at Redwood Park, supporting Wisco (duh), napping in the lavender, chillin' with Roxy, naming what my favorite beer will be when I am older, making new friends, going to the museum, and hanging with Daddy.
