Kaya on the Right Coast

Kaya and family visited Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Maine all in one grand road trip. Lots of friends, sand, sun, water, family and New England flavor. Here's a peek at a few of the stops we made.

Yup, I love Montana.

I just returned to California after spending two weeks in Montana with Arnica, Devin, Auntie Sandy, and Uncle Marty.  Nana and Grampy Bill were there, too! I loved waking up in the trees every day.  It was especially fun for me to play with Arnica and Devin all day long.  As you can see, they taught me lots of new things.  Nana took very good care of me and told me lots of stories.  I went on a boat for the first time, too.  It was such a fun trip!

Last weekend Mommy completed a sprint triathlon with my Auntie Maegan and her other friend Leah.  Daddy and I braved the cool windy morning as Mommy swam in the Bay, rode her bike into the headwind, and ran with full you-know-whats.  It was really fun to cheer on Mommy; Mommy had a blast!

I spent the past few weeks having lots of fun with my Left Coast family.  My new East Bay cousin, Orion Daniel Monteau, was born on May 26 (he is so much smaller than I am!); my other East Bay cousin, Logan Dedrick, turned one on June 6; Mommy & Daddy and I went north to Vichy Hot Springs on Memorial Day weekend; and Mommy turned 37 on June 3.  It has been super fun to celebrate and party so much!  As you can see in these pictures, I am holding up my head more and even helped Daddy to bake a special cake for Mommy.  She had lots of candles to blow out!
